BTS becoming immune to Cane Toad toxins

Here's a cool article that just came out. BTS are becoming immune to cane toad toxins, particularly in areas where an invasive plant called "mother-of-millions" has been introduced. The plant has a toxin remarkably similar to cane toad toxin and where BTS feed on the plant they develop tolerance to the toxins of BOTH the plant and the cane toads.

very cool is nice to see some animals adapting and resisting the cane toads

wow thats awesome. Goes to show that an environment with things that arent supposed to be there CAN adapt, albeit very slowly.
