if they eat them i dont see why not,i personally rarely feed snails these days,i worry that wild snails may harbour parasites and theres the chance that they have been in touch with snail baits, also they r happy eating veg and meat and thrive on that so im happy using the safer diet, but i cant see a prob with u using pond snails, are the shells on those snail species thick, thats the only prob i can see,i dont know what those snails are or look like ,plus if i wanted to use snails we have an over abundance of them where i live in australia

I do feed garden snails - agreed that they can harbour parasites, bait etc but I quarantine them for 5 days before feeding so generally you can tell which ones are sick and which ones are fit for feeding.
Aquatic snails, as mentioned above, do have tougher shells, but I would think that if you crunch them with something before feeding, they should be fine.
Might be a good idea to pop a few in a tank with water for a week to see if any die or get sick - that way you can tell if they're ok to feed.

While I agree Quigly is worth being spoiled, I am not paid enough to chew for him, However I have made snail squishing a game for my daughter, she loves to mash em up then feed him.

You're not paid enough to chew for him? How much are you paid for general duties? I'm in the wrong line of work...
