Great post Lisa, I second that.
Kristy, it's perfectly okay to "steal" a thread and bring up good points. Housing multiple skinks is one of the topics that needs to be addressed here on this forum regularly. Thank you for asking great questions and considering better options for your guys!!! You're a model bluey owner.
Let us know if we can help you build or set up something a bit better. If in meantime you can, a temporary divider (cardboard or plexiglass?) splitting up the tank may work for a short time until you work out a solution.

Hey thanks Kyle, so does the seperation need to happen now or later...they are 14 weeks old at the moment. If i do the seperation i will rotate them so they each get a turn of the lights a few times a day.
I could get another enclosure but that would mean sitting it on top then my dogs and cat will be able to see the blueys and thats not good. They think they are food and would just annoy them all the time.

No-one can say when they should be separated. This forum recommends not housing more than one together indoors period. They may have a fight tomorrow, or next year, or not at all. You just don't know.
Is there anywhere else in the house you can put a tank other than your room?
That sounds like a very petlink kind of seller! But like I said before, it's common in Aus for people to house more than one together. We here just don't like to take the risk, based on the fact that blueys are solitary in the wild, can be territorial, and if they do get aggresive they can really cause some damage.

Well me and my mum are raising 3 of the grand kids and i wouldn't trust the boys around my pets again. One of them opened my bird cage and let my mummy budgie go and i just wouldn't feel comfortable not having them locked in my room. I might actually be finding a new home for one of my blueys, that way when i do get my own place or more room i can then buy another enclosure or more.
I will put a divider in the tank today though...just to be on the safe side.

babies fighting
I was visiting bluey babies at a pet store one time. There were half a dozen of them in a 10 gallon or so aquarium. They were feeding them live prey and one of the babies kept latching on to the others' heads until an employee would thump him on the tail/back. (I was a bit hysterical about this among other things. 
) I don't know if it was the live prey or close proximity, but that particular youngster had to be removed. They told me they couldn't house them all separately. I couldn't believe how aggressive a very small baby could be. Some of it depends on the individual but it isn't worth the risk of a worst case scenario. A new tank is a lot cheaper than surgery at an exotic vet. I'm running out of horizontal space too. I am looking into some reasonably priced multiunit plans. PM me if you want plans for a cheap but easy one to build. Check with any local herp societies and you may be able to find a reasonably priced one there. Oh, I just remembered your an Aussie. Look at some of the furniture that people have converted into housing. That may be easier/cheaper for you over there. Good luck!

No, as i said before i only got 2 for company reasons then found out they don't require it so i might not even be keeping the second baby. I also think with my work schedule i'd be able to give more attention to just one. I have some thinking to do....
