lately my skink has been well... lets call it parinoid somwat, every time i see him he rushes into his hidin spot and then pops his head out, it's like all of a sudden he has gone from mellow to scardy cat, does any 1 know whhhy??

Have you changed anything in his cage or around his cage? Where is he in the shed cycle? A few of mine have been known to get weird around shed time. I can't remember what kind do you have and how long have you had him? How often have you been handling him?
