We had a brilliant time, thanks! But it was very very cold so I whinged a lot. I’ll PM some pics in a coupla weeks for those that want to have a laugh.
It was laidback and casual at this gorgeous vineyard near Ottago, just family and about 10 close friends, and then me, Conor, his son Ciaran, his parents, my sister & brother in law and two of his brothers and their families went to Queenstown for a few days skiing (and more whingeing on my part) and then just the 3 of us were going to go sailing on the way home but I got sick; apparently from all that whingeing so I’m told, and so we came home on Monday and I‘m still sick. I hate being sick.
And the cake? Well, to cut a long story short, I got well and truly suckered on that one, and I'm still thinking up a suitably wicked revenge. The whole 6 course meal was all deserts. What a man!! I was in heaven!!! We worked our way through profiteroles and strudel and black forest cake and all sorts of yummies, all the way to #6 .... which turned out to be .... a fruit platter. The tosser. I will have my revenge but
Santos is well and truly awake now. He's gone a bit native, and is a bit bitey when it comes to food. He's also a loud and proud male and loves flashing his goolies now, so I don't know that him and Ralphie will be spending time alone anymore. He did the massivest poo on Tuesday, first time he's been out since before winter. I almost felt the need to get the dog poop scoop it was so gianormous but I thought I'd leave it for Conor to mow over and release the waft. Weather's warming up but, so shouldn't be too long before the others wake up
