If you're moving here and want to keep reptiles, then don't move to WA. They have the strictest laws, you can only keep species native to that state, you can't move in or out of there and take your herps etc.

Vic is probably the most lenient, there's lots of species you don't need to have a license for eg bluetongues. NSW is pretty good, you pay your $60 and you can keep most Aus species.

Being a Kiwi, you will no doubt end up in NSW, probably in Sydney around Bondi

I reckon somewhere near the bush, that way you can see the animals out on walks and stuff. Plus its cheaper than in the city.

What kind of work are you looking at? Ha! Ha! That was a joke. Get it? A kiwi looking for a job!!
Just kidding! One more of you won't make a difference

I'd move to QLD, it's a boom state, good weather, good time to get your foot in the door and invest. We're looking at propery there at the moment.

Are you a city person? Go Melbourne over Sydney (much more culture and class. Sydney's very wannabe)

Do you prefer the quiet life but still have access to everything? Adelaide's a good city for that.

If you want to go bush, then mate, this is Australia! Too many places to list!

It depends on what your plans are, what kind of job you're looking for, what kind of weather you like, social life, how much money you want to make etc.

You'll no doubt end up in Sydney. But don't stay there. Sydney sucks! I should know!

ok, social life, i dont mind how social it is, a few friends, a few drinks, thats the sort of guy i am :ohyes:

i like the laid back-ish life, not too laid back or ill get bored but not too hectic or ill want to leave.

weather, well ive lived the west coast of new zealand (rain) ive lived in england (more rain, and clouds, and wind, and frost, i could go on :P ) and ive lived in the east coast of new zealand (sun, sun and more sun, except when its flooding)

money, id love to make a fair amount, i would rather stay in nsw really, but i could always look into queensland i suppose...
