Pez has arrived!

Postby lernmeabook » Sat Sep 08, 2007 2:05 pm

He arrived yesterday!!! My first reptile! What a sweetie too : ) I hearts all over him. I think he might even shed soon! I just love this little guy to bits. He's only a little bigger than my hand right now.

Should I feed him every other day or every day do you think? He's only a month and a half old now.

Hi,

CONGRATS!!!

yOUR NEW LITTLE BABY IS SOOO CUTE!!

I GOT A NEW BABY TOO!!!

I got "Watson" yesterday @ a show in California!!

He's a 3 mos. Northern;)

He's amazing and I am addicted to him already! :)

I went and bought some catfood today... and I am going to blend in some summers squash and endive. I fed him a couple of wax worms yesterday and also a mini snail. He loved it all! He's a little pig... he ate another wax warm last night before bed :)

Today I will also experiment w/rasperrries.

I am going to food process the squash and the endive together and blend some into the kitty food.. I got Chicken (Wellness canned cat food)

the only thing... is that I want to know how much should I feed him??

I was thinking like a small lid (like the lids for a thermo cup or a cover for a can ) full of the yummy mix.... and now.. should I do that once or twice a day?Image
my sugar is raw sticky and sweet

aww, he's gorgeous  Congrats!

mmmm .... pez. Haven't had pez for ages. They should make giant ones.

Megaabel, yes an average size jar lid is a good size intially. It probably equates to a couple of tablespoons of food all up. You can see by the size of them at that age that their tummies must be pretty small. Once a day feeding is fine. Don't try and get your skink to full size in a hurry, it's not good for them.

lernmeabook: Pez is such a neat name and brings back good childhood memories :weirdo:

megaabel: Your northern is such a cutie. Our babies are lighter and it is always neat to see the northern babies with the darker sides :ohyes:
