Tear production is occasionally affected during/temporarily after conjunctivitis. It is possible that the conjunctivitis isn't completely resolved. Call your herp vet and check about duration (as some ophthalmic solutions contain ingredients that might hurt your guys kidneys if you do it too long!) Blockage of the tear ducts typically resolves unless scarring has occurred.
My bluey will occasinally squint going into shed. I take a soft wet wash cloth and wipe away the shed. That usually helps.
Sometimes the more you know, the more paranoid you become.
