Scratches

Yes becarfull cause i handle alot of sick bobtails . The dirtiest spot is in nail area . I did a course on this we opened up bobtails and seen there little kidneys like beans . But cause they walk through poo and other body juices . Ill get the name of the stuff we use wash before picking them up and after .
I have a list of the stuff found on there nails
(eg) Salmanella and the list goes on like 20 different bugs , we can get sick on .At the centre we change the news paper 2 times a days as some have creme in there eyes and bandages there always walking through POO/ Here Aqium Gel
Antibacterial gel

And scrub like a surgian under your nails ..It made me sit up reading this FAQ sheet on there nails ..yep they do scratch .

I think some people react more than others to the skink scratches. The small scratches on my arms quickly turn red and puff up. The same type of scratch on my husband's arm do nothing. I also have a hard time cleaning out the skink cages. I sneeze like crazy and start wheezing. I think I remember Dragontears saying that she has a reaction to one of her skinks (or to one of Zach's skinks--can't remember).

Yeah, Renee thinks she allergic to only the gigas varieties.

I sneeze and wheeze when I clean all my blueys cages, and I puff up a bit around the scratches to most of them, but only the gigas skinks make my eyes swell up for some reason.

It's so cute though! I remember when you first told me; it was at our house and you said with really wide eyes: "I THINK I'M TOTALLY ALLERGIC TO MY GIGAS"

when lilly leaves scratches both me and wastedindustry get allergic reaction to it, but then we're allergic to everything!

I dont get any different a reaction, than scatches from anywhere/anything else.I took it as normal.

Like dragontears, whenever we clean lilly's tank I sneeze my head off. I remember first day we got her I kept on sneezing too
