A would like give eveyone a round of applause for all the heelp for a ne BTS owner. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Now if i culd only make them move in a circle :banana:

I know cold living in Nebraska. I will definitely get something to help with basking. I have a rock but i think i will get a basking light, Any suggestions of a kind??

Don't use an electrical heat rock, they are prone to overheating and causing burns.

I would install a 100 watt bulb, and with a thermometer, check the temperature directly under the bulb.

If it gets much warmer than 105 ish, go down to a 75.

yes u definatly need a basking lamp,eg 100 watt or even 75 watt and focus it onto a plain flat rock to create a basking temp,make sure other end of your cage is cooler than basking side so he can cool off when he needs to,the uvb tubes wont give u basking spot temps that nomad stated so u need to get a light fixture and incandesant light to create the thermal gradient and basking spot blueys desperatly need,more important than uv tubes as they need the temps to function,welcome aboard to and ask away, thats what the forum is for
