Welcome to you and Izzy. Congrats on choosing a BTS ... you won't regret it. :) My Baby didn't poo for several days after she arrived. Stage fright? :| If eating is going well maybe offer a bit of fruit to help things move along? Like Richard said if health looks good probably just stress from the relocation. Happens to many of us when we travel. Good Luck.

ok when i got him from glitterfish she said that he hasn't eaten anything in almost two months also that he hasn't had any bowel movements in those 2 months and if he's been impacted for two months wouldn't he be extremely thin and be completly non active or dead by now i'm just trying to figure it out he's about 4 or 5 lbs so any ideas?

I don't think 2 months without food would have a noticeable effect on the way he looks.

What did you weigh him with? 4-5lbs would be very heavy for a skink.

i didn't weigh him thats just a gues from holding him im probably off by about a poundand a half but he's got really good weight he's not at all skinny and is active when i hlod him and he always tried to hide under my shirt or anything else he can find and sleep but when he's in his cage all he does is dig into the substraight and hide/sleep all the time.

I'm going to make a guess and say that you are off by more the a pound. I think the heaviest bluey on here was 2 1/2 pounds before his diet. I would recommend getting a kitchen scale that measures in pounds and grams. There is one at Target that is about $20 and comes with a good size tray to put a bluey on. I find it helpful to weigh my guys about once a month.

The fact that you state he continues to hide and go asleep does make me think its a brumation thing, it could be settling in nerves but, I've no idea what the seasons are like where you are, but if its getting cooler with shortening days, he maybe thinking of it, did glitterfish give you any info on last years cooling down procedures?could you find out?

What have you tried feeding him? If he's not eating anything then he won't be having bowel movements.

It's also a possibility that he's stressed from all the moving. They just recently moved and now he's moved again to your house.
