i used to give it to my dog (until it became too expensive) but i was hoping it would be a really great option for me with cricket. its great for dogs, mine really liked it and she looked incredible wile on it. its raw dehydrated - human grade - food, its also 100% organic. you simply hydrate and feed.
here are the ingredients:
Hormone-free chicken, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, sweet potatoes, apples, alfalfa, organic kelp, honey, zucchini, green beans, cabbage, bananas, papayas, yogurt, basil, garlic and rosemary.

i know its missing some vitamins, so i was thinking i would add a vitamin supplement to it also. plus, i am an avid fruit eater, so cricket would get fresh fruits along with his meal, plus i would probably still feed him phoenix worms too.
thanks again

... what if i dehydrated his current diet? it would be the same concept as the previous, but with food that are for sure the best for him. the only problem i see (besides the lack of fresh foods - that i would give to him periodically) is that when you cook veggies, they loose their nutrients. but technically, I'm not cooking them, I'm dehydrating. does it make a difference, is my real question.
from the little bit of research I've done, dehydrated food loose about 3-5% of their nutrients. frozen about 20-30%.
