of course! I'd just like to point out though, i'm not basing my entire opinion on the 3 easterns I own. That would be stupid. I'm talking from experience with both wild and Cb ones. I just wish we got more of the grey variety where I am. Prodominantly Green to tan here.

I was talking only about the eye bands....(to be honest, I'm not sure if one could say there are more dark easterns here than there because I'll bet you could find a very light one close by!) -- although I've seen so many HUNDREDS (literally) of *different* looking easterns there's no way I could tell you where they came from....one thing I have come to believe is that Easterns by far are the most common and the most diverse looking BTS in the wild (I think). Of all the mail I get from random people with questions, easterns are the #1 animal and they are SO different! (Compared to others like centralian and westerns who do have differences, but generally have one consistent look).

So, is there a consensus on the arid portion of the Blotched page? :chin:

well Zach - yeah - i think it should be removed - even if this is the wrong thread to talk about this.

In regards to the easterns, Here in Oz - I've found most people either have Easterns or Blotchies. In Vic it'd moreso be blotchies, NSW they'd have mostly Easterns. But both Easterns and Blotchies are found frequently in both States.

In regards to the Eye bands, I think I stated that in my first post regarding said topic. with the exception of Northern NSW and QLD - Most easterns have Black eyebands. Now I put it down to intergrades - but That'll be debated and can be done so forever, Which is fair - unless we set up web cams along the ground in Bluey hotspots (and we'd need a few hundred thousand) we'll never know for sure. But even so - it's too late to find out if infact the northern Easterns did once have a black eye band.

Doesn't really matter anyway does it?
