Spelling is important, but probably not something that should be harped on. I'm a TA for an upper division university class and some of the papers that get turned in by graduating seniors makes me wonder if they've ever taken a grammar class. Regardless, maybe we should just be nice about it?

Herp Boy, be glad it was just in the food. My big female IJ had runny egg poo all over her basking rock, in the morning after I had left for class. It baked all day, and when I came back.....I gagged as soon as I walked into the house. There wasn't enough febreeze in the world to clear that stench!!

Anyone that wants to work on their spelling should consider buying a dictionary and using that instead of spell check. You have to think to use a dictionary and that is a good way to establish memory patterns. If you just have to push a button you will not learn to spell.

Spelling is one thing, poor grammar annoys me.

I'm not positive how I know this.

When I got Pryce his first poo was all over the basking rock. Ugh. Thankfully, not a horrible smell, but very messy. MartinsPerson, just imagine how poor lizard felt with that smell. I think times like that call for outings for the rest of the day while the house airs ^.^

LittleFoot is notorious for leaving me his little presents in his water dish, especially when he was still eating superworms, partially digested carpaces are not a pretty thing. Every once in a while he poos on his basking rock, but luckily I have always been home when he does this so it can get cleaned up right away.

I have never seen Tink do anything like this. I think it is because he is a Tank. He loves his food so much that he eats it all. When he doesn't eat it he lays over. I guess he thinks if he does not protect it someone will steal it. I am actually waiting for him to move so that I can take the food out and clean his tank. I do not think he is moving anytime soon.

Whoot! Go Tink. I gave the skinks food in their tank yesterday because I had to be out for the day, and Pryce ran out, grabbed a chunk of meat, and ran off. Silly critters.

I agree! I strongly believe the only reason kids can't spell anymore is because the public schools don't focus on it like they used to. Spelling bees used to be a big thing, and they've all but disappeared (not literally, but there used to be spelling BOOKS for gosh sakes).
