ok I tried to find the post i did earlier when I said i found a huge ear plug in blues ear and i promised pics but my cam was down so i kept it in a plastic bag so here are some pics.Image

It was in his left ear and i wasnt sure if thats what it was or not so i slowly tugged with the tweezers got the small layer out first then the large layer who knows how long it had been there it looks like quite a bit of sheds.

Awwww, I'm glad you got 'em out! I bet your Skinker-Blue feels soooo much better!
I saved Chuff's earplugs from his last shed, and they look like little clear scorpions. I'll get pics later. :)

lol yeah its great to get those out of their ears... I could just imagine how annoying something stuck in your ear would be.

The whole "ear bag" system is so cool...for those who don't know, the purpose of the "ear bag" is to catch dirt or other matter that falls into the ear while burrowing. During shed time, the animal sheds out the bags filled with dirt or whatever it was that got into the ear! Of course, we don't have to worry about that too much in our enclosures.

Your picture is neat because it shows somewhat what it might look like in the wild if the bag had something in it when it shed out...

i have so many things in my collection i have snake skins ear bags and my daughters umbilical cord. People aleady think im wierd from having mice in my freezer
