New Standards for pet food industry.

So I got the new issue of Dog Fancy (Feb 2008), and they have a VERY short article about how the pet food industry will now be more regulated. I guess the huge pet food recall finally opened up some eyes. The new amendment act requires the pet food industry to establish new ingredients, labeling, and processing standards with in the next 2 years.

Hopefully this will help improve the quality of the pet foods and for those of us that feed dog/cat food to our blueys, we can feel better/safer doing so!

when i feed my blueys dog/cat food i always make sure its high quality if what the article says happens that would be great you wouldnt be as worried . :D

Sounds good to me i feed him cat food since dog food cans are like huge.
Bluetooth is one plugged in skink! He is made with most recent computer wireless technology XD!

Some of the food on the recall list was high quality - that's why it was so huge and scary. The top top quality foods like Wellness and Solid Gold were not involved, but top food like Natural Balance was.
