Jazz's pukin cat food

Postby ewstokes » Tue Dec 18, 2007 12:41 pm

Ive noticed that Jazz has puked his cat food up twice since I got him. I think its cat food anyway, he hasnt been fed catfood since he was with his previous owner on Friday, but the puke smells like when my cat pukes up his cat food.
I have fed him blueberries, superworms, collard greens, and chicken.

Any thoughts? the color is grayish.

You sure it's throw up and not the other way around? Try a different food, feed a little bit less, and make sure his basking spot is at least between 90 and 100. If there aren't any other signs of illness, I wouldn't panic.

it could also be that your bluey has over eaten or sucked down too much water and is bloated. That's happened to one of my blotchies (chopper). It's never happened since, but when it did i noticed him going stupid on the food then sucking down HEAPS of water. 10mins later he chucked.

I would think that with in a 4 day period that the cat food would have been out of the skinks system.

Depends on his temps, maybe he's too cool and is not digesting adequately/properly? What are his temps?

Also can depend on how active he is....

But Blotch is right...usually if they barf because of food it would be not too long after they ate. Still could just be an upset stomach; but see if he does it again.
