Check out this light colored Northern, looks just like a "caramel" to me...a bit more black in the portholes, but very light.

Also, is it me or do BOTH of these have very light, even blue/green eyes like Andrew's Maurine classic Northern??? Might be something he would want to look at? They are commanding a high price for these guys at this place, though...not sure that is reasonable...

Just thought I would share and see if I am going colorblind or if those eyes are really that color? :noknow:

Maybe, maybe not. He tends to be busy.

That guys is very light compared to the other one. I like the eyes too.

Are they green?? Peach has VERY , VERY light eyes, almost a light tannish color...I can't tell if these eyes are like that or not...there does appear to be a tinge of green...and Ben knows BTS fairly well...no mention...

I saw this ad as well and was shocked by the price. I dont think it is worth that, but yet, I like my northerns colorful.

Is this light northern as light as Lissa was?

Not as light as Lissa.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but if the eyes are normal, I'd say she's just a big light Northern, but if her eyes are in fact green, that's possibly some sort of mutation -- I'm not sure how or if the green eyes affect or have anything to do with body color though....albinism it does obviously...Lissa's eyes and body color had nothing in common to my knowledge. Her tongue was also regular blue of course.

To genetic noobs out there, just to clarify, the reason albinism results in red eyes is because it removes black pigment (melanin) from the entire animal, including the eye.
