okay,thanks,Tattoo. Larrys scales feel really rough unlike Garrys smooth scales. Does anyone know why? also, Larrys scales look
different in general. Does anyone know why?

His scales could be rough because he was in a dryer environment and had poor diet or he could have mites. Are the scales raised? Maybe you could post a picture so we can see how they look?

You said the scales were rough. Scales can apprear lifted (so you can see under them slightly) if a skink has mites. Check the care sheet about mites ... maybe that will help.

Larry has a fine shape( I like the pattern too),you should use it as a reference guide to get Gary down somewhere near that.
