Okay, I have a youngin bts, it has been estimated around 7 months. He is shedding about every 2 weeks i spose, this is the second time, and I've had him 2 weeks. Is that normal? I have been marking it on the calender. Just wondering.
Alos, I made him a humid box with a tupperware container and moist papertowels, it seems to help a lot! But his body is nice and shiny but his tail is still dull and darker. I'v made sure the tip of his tail shed because it was still kinda hanging today, He is really calm about his head like his eyes, mouth and whatnot. Could his tail just be not as shiny and bright? I'll get some pictures to show you. It doesnt seem to have any built up skin. I will wrap his tail in a warm wet paper towel tomorrow to see if anythign happens but I don't want to soak him.
Shedding?

Tails do tend to be duller in many cases. I find this a lot with my tanimbars right now. If the shed is off, then all is well.
As for the frequent shedding, has he been eating a lot lately? If they eat a lot, they grow a lot, and therefor shed a lot.

YES! Lol he eats like a pig, He was quite obese for a little bit but he has trimmed down now, less dog food more fruits and veggies.
He ate kiwi today, That was a new one for him.
And I believe he has grown like 2 inches since I measured him 2 weeks ago..
Thank you! I was just unsure about the whole tail thing, I do believe it is all off, All he had when I came home from school was his head and tip of tail. The rest seems to be good, Checked all his little toes..Which he did not like at all

Shedding every two weeks sounds normal to me. That is what mine did for quite a while. If he doesn't like you touching his feet you could spend time working on that. It's just like when you have a puppy and they are touchy about their toes. When you have him out in your lap stroke his head and work your way down to his toes. You'll be surprised how soon they will accommodate your toe tickling.
Good luck.
