Pics of Horatio and his bluey salad:)

Postby waltah! » Mon Jan 28, 2008 9:57 pm

What kind of new Dad would I be if I didnt take pics of everything!;) I was aware of his previous diet so I knew there were a couple of things on his plate that he had never had....the blueberries went over well! I wanted to give him some choices so that I can figure out what he likes. Hope you like em:)

Thanks! I warned him in advance to tread lightly on the leather:) He was not all that interested in eating when the food was in the tank so I took it out and he was all over it...go figure

I put a small amount of plain yogurt on there and he went absolutely nuts over it....it's pretty funny watching a grown man spoon feed his lizard and wiping off his chin like a baby:)

You'll have to let me know how he handles the yogurt out the other end!
I've never tried dairy with mine because he's not a mammal, so I figured he couldn't digest lactose very well. . . I've heard of others feeding yogurt, but I think its a very occassional thing? Anyway, let me know!

Yeah I can't wait to see how it "turns out";)
It's more of an occassional treat for him. It certainly won't be a staple in his diet or anything. He did look about as happy as a lizard can look when he was eating it though:)
