If my memory is correct, they have had that bluey for quite some time. Its sad. I wish I had more room for another bluey.

Darn, I hate to rain on your parade but I'm starting to really hate Kingsnake.com. . .I keep seeing questionable animals being sold for wayyyyy more than they should be, and I also seriously question the care given these creatures either before or during their stay with the people selling them. . .
No toes means very likely poor husbandry! All I can say is, poor skink!

Earlier today, some guy was selling a two headed gargoyle for like 10,000 dollars. its a week old. When they're born conjoined like that, the survival rate is sooooo questionable. . .

Isn't it amazing how owning reptiles makes you figure out just how efficiently and effectively you can use the little space that you do have! ;) I have found an AMAZING amount of space in my house! :)

I agree, he has a very sweet face. I wish I could rescue him. . .I'd name him Toeless Joe. :D
And I gotta admit. If it came down to it, I'd probably buy a shingleback off Kingsnake if I had to. . .
But I would so much rather support a good reliable breeder.

I do agree with you. I am now starting to go "up" and buying shelving units to put cages on.

I am moving to a new apartment this summer and am going with a one-bedroom. I am thinking I need to change that to a 2 bedroom apartment if I get any more animals that I am planning to before I move.

Kingsnake is just like craigslist, its not really regulated, so its up to the buyer to determine who they will support. This skink is very pretty, but unfortunately, I feel like its being peddled by a really irresponsible person. Too bad, poor skinker.

Leigh, you crack me up!
Poor Toeless Joe, I would rescue him if I could, but I wouldn't pay the outlandish price they want for him whether at a show, on Kingsnake, or whatever.
My sadness is when the poor animal sufferes at the hands of an irresponsible or careless human being.
