Thanks Brad! I found Mack the same way, actually...there were actually 3 more Blueys on there here in Phoenix...I think I hit my limit for "adoptions" though...there was one ad that I posted on here when I didn't know what they were...a Northern and IJ "pair" for sale...the prices were SO low and almost all came with cages/vivs.

At any rate, I am hoping Mack is my big stud! I am GUESSING I have 2.1.0 for the northerns, but that is yet to be seen...no plugs or anything! Mack is my only "classic" northern, too...the others have very low black and portholes aren't all that well defined.

I do consider myself very lucky with all these finds! :D

Tattoo wrote:Hey ... glad you finally got those pictures posted. That girl is a beauty! :D :D You have Northerns too huh? Good choice

Yep, you "recommended" that I take more pics and I had to abide. :) I wanted to check on her anyway...she seems to be enjoying hiding and burrowing right now so I don't see her until I pull her out...if I put her under the basking lamp she will sit there until she is warm and go right back to hiding! :) Annubis is a beauty, though! Still awaiting any future plans, though... ;)

Yes, I do have Northerns as well. I really like their "slower" nature...I would say Annubis is just as calm, but both of my Indos are more likely to BOLT at any given time...the Northerns, yeah, not so much! They just kinda "cruise" along, never very fast. Even when it looks like they are trying to go fast (still not "used to" being handled as the previous owners didn't do it at all really) they are just an arm reach away! :D I loved watching them explore the few times I had to pull them out for one reason or another.

Thanks Zach! That's what I thought as well! I love her dark eyeband and just all the black outlining...makes her look "sleek" and to top it off, she's got a nice pink belly! ;)

Yep! That is the jist of what I have figured out Mack to enjoy...SLEEPING! ;)

He loves a good bask.

So, is Eddy much older then Lilly or does she just eat more coffee beans? Seems you have a hyper little girl and a grumpy old man there! 8)

I just saw Fenix getting ready to poo...thought I would watch, the angle was right and everything...OH MY GOSH!!!! Fenix is, WITHOUT A DOUBT, a HE! I guess the HUGE bulges post vent kinda state that, but his hemipenes shot out like 2cm when he shot the plugs!!! He's NOT a big skink and that was REALLy surprising to me, I almost fell over!

At least any possible doubt I had (though I was pretty sure with all the plugs I have seen) is GONE! Wish I had the camera, didn't think it would be that SPECTACULAR, though! 8)

A few more pictures of Annubis...she was out at the same time as Fenix, so I introduced them...she just kinda sat there and he performed "normal" male activities with jerky movements and a wandering tongue.

Here are some pictures of Annubis and Fenix together the ruler in there is 15 inches (38cm).

And then there's MACK! :D He is definitely 30-31cm SVL and about 6cm wide head! Here are some pictures with that same 15 inch (38cm) ruler to illustrate for you.

A little tongue action if you check carefully.. ;)

HAHAHA!!! That sounds EXACTLY like what Mack did today when I took him out! He just moved a few feet so that I couldn't get a good measurement then fell asleep until I tried to measure him again! ;)

Thanks! I think they are both beauties as well! Fenix is actually calming down A LOT since I got him and I only handle him a few minutes every few times I see him wandering his cage. I think he is getting ready to shed again, too! He is getting a bit "cloudy" in color around his neck area...

Yeah, I am hoping that he will "brighten up" a bit, I do remember him being a bit lighter before brumation...but, it could just be the lighting? At any rate, I like his markings and am enjoying being able to handle him more freely as he slowly calms down with "practice". :)

Yes, I think Mack and Eddy would be good vacation buddies...just lay on their hammocks, napping, and dreaming of some tasty meat snacks! ;)
