the snails are bigger than the lizards heads :-)

A 2 cm diameter snail is a bit too much of a challenge.

I'll see if I can find some small ones and get some shots of the carnage.

I realize Adult snails are too big for babies - I just didn't think that scott would be serving the big ones. Makes sense as to why they need Mashing.

Also leigh - that pic is Evil man - you put the snails in with some nice greenery, they are thinking Yummy! Foooooood!!! then along comes your blueys and CRUNCH! Death to the snails! mwahahaha! :P

I was able to find some medium to small snails in the garden today (along with a number of larger ones). The small ones were readily crunched up by the little blueys. I'll mash up the big ones tomorrow and try to get a photo.

Thanks all for the comments/suggestions.

Why not hold on to the adult snails and breed little snacks for your youngens? At least you'd have a year round supply to hand, if they dont breed, you'll have bigger meals for when they've grown a bit.

You are so cruel, Geoff.... :hehe: I can imagine you smashing them up then just throwing the bits down the well to a hoard of hungry babies looking like baby birds screaming for their meal!
