I tried, but didnt like the look of it (in the set up) if you rip up used paper(newspaper and office) into a bucket full of warm/hot water, stir the lot up for as long as your arms can take(about an hour for me) then let the majority of any ink come out into the water, leave it over night or all day if you do it in the morning. To drain off the water, I put a tennis racquet over the bucket and turned it upside down over a sink/drain, when most of the waters gone(stopped dripping),tip back over and grab handfulls of the pulp, squash it as tight as you can into balls(the tighter the better) then put them somewhere to dry, once dry you can break them up into the size you like(outside to avoid too much dust), it is a bit of hard work but still cheaper than buying it. I suppose (thinking back)I could of added an animal safe dye to change the final colour, I might even have another go at it in summer. Best of luck if you try it and take photos for all to see.
MMMmmmmm... Something???????
