ace, if i bredd snails how long does it take for them to get to the big size to feed my skink.
I have an adult, hes about 2 and a half - 3 years old.
Hes just never had variety of food and when i put food out for him outside of the viv he just doesnt seem to be too interested, infact if i put food hear him he huffs and runs off....
he is a grumpy bugger.
To me the earthquake is a big fuss bout nothing i watched videos of it and its like...a tiny rumble...
My new BT Skink =]

closest thing i've experienced to an earth quake was when i was in Bali - One of the volcanos stirred. Was a pretty big rumble - things moved - people fell out of bed. fun times!
In regards to Snails - I think i'm gonna re do the housing for my snails today. They aren't doing anything - so Maybe if i change the setup I'll have more success. I want more snails so i'll always have them for the blueys. My guys love snails - and I'm interested to see what happens when i give my Kimbo one.

yayyyy
last night i made some spag bol for me and my boyfriend and deicded to take out some of the cook mince before adding the sauce and trying it with Dizzy.
So i popped a plate in with a small amount and left him to it, about 10 mins later i see Dizzy walking around the plate then raising his head really high over the food then bobbing it down then circling it again before...going for the kill...munch munch munch....all gone.
Thats the first time i have seen him eat since we have had him, so a week. Iv decided he doesnt like locusts, as he just licks them then walks away.
Then later on i thought hmmm i might try his with some scrambled egg. so i cooked it, let it cool down then popped that in his viv aswell. Sure enough 10 mins later he emerged from under his log...tongue going crazy....circled it again...then proceeded to eat all of that aswell =]
I am a happy mummy this morning.

Beautiful Bluey!! I just love Indos with thier pretty and shiny colors!! Dizzy sounds like he is a lucky skink to have found you. Now he is discovering the joys of food!! Pretty soon he will be as fat and big as my two "American" skinks are......(They like McDonalds too)
