I hit a low flying FAT pidgeon once, dont know how it felt after it bounced off over the hedge, ruddy annoyed me though,I didnt get its insurance details to mend the dent in the roof...

To add to the stupid bird stories, in work, there's a male chaffinch that spends all day fighting his own reflection on the polished gennerator exhaust stacks, I cant believe it hasnt snapped its beak or got a head ache....
MMMmmmmm... Something???????

Sometimes the only evidence that you hit the bird is something like a leg left behind sticking out of the headlight surround. :-(

I put the juiciest looking Cochshafer beetle grub in front of Bluey the other day and he just looked at me stupid. Some things they just don't go for and no apparent reason.

so, a budgie isn't a parakeet? because all the local petstores here have the Parakeet sign on the birds but underneath the word Parakeet in parentheses is "As known as Budgie". So I'm confused, they aren't really budgies?

I guess it just depends where you're from. They call parakeet's budgies here too. But it doesn't surprise me that they got the name wrong in actuality. Wouldn't be the first time..

Yesterday I met some people who happen to breed finches. I told them if they had any eggs that were infertile, I'd take them off their hands as a Bluey treat. ^.^

I found another batch of Gecko eggs in the garden today. I spose they are natural bluey food. No I'm not going to feed them to Bluey, or the babies :-) or maybe I will murhahahahah!

These eggs are massive compared to the size of the geckos.

Believe it or not these are those little Marbled Geckos that are everywhere here. Probably the same in Bachus.

Blotch, nope was looking for bugs to feed the babies. Three batches that I have come across now. I was worried originally cos I thought I might have had a few brownies getting around the garden till I worked out what they were.
