I thought he'd made enough progress to be worth a few more shots.
He's eating well and is quite active. I'm getting lots of shed off his lip area now, he seems to enjoy this and will close his eyes and lean into the coth or brush whichever i am using at the time.

I haven't taken him out much the last few days as i have been sick, just went to the doc today and found out I have pnumonia. But, he is still handling well. He's bit at the q-tips and cloths I've used when cleaning his face but hasn't gotten any of me yet thank goodness. can't blame him though I can only imagine how much pain I've already put him through.

As the pictures show, all has been for a good cause.

Awesome progress hun! Right hand side looks better than the left - but both still look HEAPS better than they originally did. You should post the old pics against these so people can see the difference. Really stamp it home!!!

Shame about you being sick - just make sure you take care of yourself - otherwise you'll be no good to anyone - and who am i gonna annoy at all hours of the night if you're not there to annoy me back hmmm???

Quinn just keeps getting better in leaps and bounds! Looks like the eyes aren't even watering anymore ^.^ Was there a lot of retained shed around the mouth? I can't wait, I want a Fast Foward button so I can see how Quinn is doing in 6 months!! You're doing amazing. I don't think I could do what you've been doing. Get healthy soon.

thats extremely impressive, the improvemnt is unbelievable your doing such a fantastic job there aren't many other people who could put in that much effort and show that level of devotion. quinn looks so much better. great job keep it up. we all admire what your doing.

You need to show that first picture along side the one from when you first posted his plight,thats an AWESOME recovery rate,you should be proud of your healing hands, dont go getting to crook as Luke said,the skinks need you.

I switched to calling it a he because something about him strikes me as such. Was only calling him a her before because it was ingrained in me by the previous owner who had been calling him Penelope.

I definately thought these pics would get a reaction. He is doing a good deal better. The eyes do still water a bit on occasion usually only when he gets really excited, like when he is fighting me about having his face messed with or something. Then there will be a bit of tears and a small amount of froth at the mouth but no where near what it used to be.

As for me, I'm mad because I have had to miss my second week of work which never looks good, and i need this job.

but i trust my doctor to know whats best for me especially since he knows me and my tendency to push myself WAY to hard. So I sit at home and feel like something that would better fit in a Ping-a-ling, poo-nami video.

I'm just sorry the pictures are not better though it's for a good reason. He's gotten much feistier and won't pose pretty for the camera anymore.
