Tegu Lizard

Ehhhh... This is a non-bts question but why this site doesnt have a offtopic section? I want to just ask this, a pair of tegu lizard just arrived at my local petshop and theyre a so cool (no offense xD) But I cant find a complete caresheet and a great community of enthusiasts like this one :D
I google it but the info is vague and the photos there doesnt match with the ones I saw at the petshop (black with orange stripes) So... Im wondering if anybody here has one and some comparisons with a BTS will be nice

Hey there, you can start an Off Topic Thread, just mark the Title "Off Topic" along with what your title/non-bluey related question is.

There's also the "Off Topic" thread, (I think its number 12 now) if its not near the top, usually you can find it at least half way down the page, and post in there any questions you have.

I do know there are some Tegu owners over on the Pangea forums, and they seem to like theirs but I've heard they're aggressive and no where near as friendly or manageable as a Bluey. They certainly are beautiful though! :)

it all depends if the tegue is argentinian or colombian. colombians are near impossible to tame where argentians are tamable but nowhere near as nice as a bluey. and this really is a question for the ot thread

I agree - this should be posted in one of 2 places - Either the offtopic thread or another site that deals with tegus - like kingsnake maybe?

Don't take offence to what i'm saying - but It's actually my job to monitor things like this thread.

we cant have them in private collections in australia,
but i have held a large adult one at the reptile park north of sydney
it was very tame
there funny, like a cross between a blue tongue and a goanna LOL
