They're very pretty, dark girls :D awesome tongues.
are they related..? sry i never heard the story on these two, they sure look it.

oh btw, i was inspired by your new outdoor enclosure, attempting to build something similiar (but smaller). One question though, one of my guys is incredibly tame, will scratch glass to be taken out, loves bein out and about, comes everywhere. Is there any chance of him becoming less tame from living more 'wild'?

Nice looking skinks Luke. I agree about the weight ... looks like they could use a good meal. And those poor little toes. :( Glad they are with you. Soon they will be right as rain.

They are petty dark huh?

Nikki (my original NSW Eastern) was pretty tame - I've kept all my easterns inside for many years - but I still put them outside. They seem to be doing well.

In regards to the new Easterns - they are gorgeous - really dark, and they do need a good feed! The toes suck - but one way of looking at it is that they are always giving the horns! \m/

I dub them "Inky and Blinky" Inky is the Injured one, Blinky is the other one. Why? Because of the third pic.

I suppiose "Kinky and Blinky" works too...

I got the fabric softener tip from a Vet.

Yeah, I think sorbolene would be a good choice too... not sure about the Aloe Vera.

I was thinking Aloe Vera cuz of the healing properties - couldn't hurt.

Thnx guys! I Have to Admit Naomi did a great job looking after the arm wounds. But unfortunately the shed was allowed to build up and she (the bluey) lost some toes.

I still say the cuts that happened around the arms was to do with shed build up. I know naomi soaked them and used a q-tip to help with the shed - but I think that maybe she didn't want to hurt them and was afraid that actually pulling off the shed would do so. I'm not sure - just speculating.

Pretty much all the stuck shed is gone as i previously stated. Just a layer on the belly which has made the belly scales rough due to the tightness. For an example - Quinn - Lucifers IJ. The face looks like the scales are somewhat deformed. This happens when a heap of stuck shed is left, Well this is what has happened to the belly of the 'Injured' Bluey.

The benefit of Aloe Vera would be moisture. Aloe Vera obviously is a soothing moisturiser - so I was thinking it could help with the stuck shed - however - i have Heaps of sorbolene at my disposal - so i may give that a go with more soakings. The original soaking lasted around an hour - and then another hour was spent pulling all the shed off. The bluey seemd Happy afterwards - but really annoyed during the procedure.

Zach - yeah the toes are bad. I've noticed she finds it difficult to move at times - like when trying to dig. Some are twisted, some are gone, Some look like they are half ready to fall off. Hopefully now all the shed on them is removed the ones that are still somewhat there can recover - if not - atleast they are not being strangled now.
