Baby IJ or Eastern with eyebands?

I wasn't too sure, poor guy looks thin either way, the dead crickets in the corner likely have something to do with that.

That is one unhappy camper, hopefully someone here will steer you in the right direction with it..
He needs something that is for sure,,a vet maybe??

I would think he does. Either that or some good grub. I just figure that if he does look eastern with eyebands he's here in the states and i know quite a few peoplewould pay the $125 for an eastern with bands.

Is it possible he doesnt like crickets? and that's why he isnt eating them? So they should maybe give him some other kinds of foods? I dont know, Chomper hates crickets and doesnt eat mealworms unless I personally deliver them to his mouth. He just doesnt seem to like things that move, dont know. Richi doesnt like crickets either..

Just get it healthy or give it to someone who can..
Lash out and buy a friggen can of dogfood if thats all it needs.If it wont eat that then take some of the great advice that the good people here are able to give you..

Did you buy it at a shop?

i didn't buy it. I just found it when I was looking on kingsnake and wanted an ID confirm from the board.

Please don't jump on people, if you had noticed my post count you would know I've been a longstanding member here, an animal in my care would never look like that for long as anyone who has seen the posts about my Quinn could tell you.

If I was a new person I might have taken that wrong and left the board, that is NOT what this forum is about.

I'd have to say IJ, I know its thin but head is the wrong shape. An Eastern would be more streamlined.

I was confused by the clean legs and portholes outlined in black. Also the striping seems wrong for an IJ. The head is much more streamlined then either of my IJ's also.

Just to compare here is a photo of my two Northern NSW Easterns that arrived a bit emaciated and damaged.

Great condition now but were a bit daggy at the time.

I'd say IJ. Don't know exactly why, it just seems IJ to me.

it could be a cross (intergrade). either way - i don't think it's a full eastern.

Thought it was IJ ,but the head looked wrong,then I thought northern,with no portholes, but the back legs were wrong,there's been a few IJ's lately with clean bands around, and not a sign of a Y in the pattern.
