Looks like there could be some arthropod in there! :) Live feeders maybe? Annubis has nicely shaped, dry poo as well. So does Mitch. I like dry...much easier to clean! ;)

Maybe it's just me, but that poo looks like it's got the same shapes as the substrate. Would explain why the poo looked odd and dry.

Did you try to break up the poo? If it was substrate, it would likely still have solid chunks. Do you feed in the tank?

Watch for the next poo. If it looks the same break it up, and see if the inside looks like the substrate. If it looks normal, keep an eye out, but otherwise it shouldn't be a problem. If he stops pooing, could be impaction, big bad! In that case he'd need a vet visit.

Here's to hoping all systems return to normal.

First symptom is probably not pooping even tho he's eating, then his appetite would go down.
Just make sure he gets food with some water content like mango or berries for a few days, he should be fine.

man - I'm not sure about this one. Just keep an eye on the rest of the fecal discharge. If it happens again - check it out like you did this time.

I'd be more worried if you, weren't seeing a dump,if it goes in and comes out, dont worry toomuch about size/shape/texture/colour/taste, no the last one's a joke.
