Male eastern stopped eating and is losing weight. At what point should this become a vet visit?

Postby bartholemew » Thu Jun 27, 2024 9:08 pm

My male Eastern bts has recently stopped eating. I’ve tried everything I could think of switching foods, trying new foods, offering food everyday, hand feeding but nothing. I’m in the southern hemisphere so it’s winter down here. So I don’t think it’s a breeding thing. I’ve started to notice a decline in weight and I’m getting quite worried now. Should I get him checked by a vet or wait a bit longer. He is up and about everyday and asking to be let out of his enclosure but still refuses food. I’m not sure what to do anymore. All advice is appreciated.
