Need help with specie identification

Postby Babrus553 » Sun May 26, 2024 8:39 am

Hi, I recently bought a blue tongue skink and this is my first time owning this type of reptile. I was watching a lot of videos on YouTube about blue to hue skink diet and I noticed videos about specie identification and now I am not really sure what type of blue tongue skink mine is. He was sold to me as a northern blue tongue skink, but he doesn’t really look like the typical northern. Could somebody help me out ?

Also I bought him with a regrowing tail, he was the only one that had it.

Thank you very much for your help!

He looks like a northern to me, but I may be wrong. For me the the orange really gives it away. I’ll add a picture of my eastern for colour reference.
