Hi all!
I am very new to owning a Blue Tongue Skink, I got my baby on the 24th of July so everything is still new. I love my baby more than anything but I also have anxiety about her getting sick. Now I have done so so much research to ensure I give the upmost care for Salem. I know she’s an Eastern and am providing the correct humidity and temperatures for her. However, at around 8:45pm on the 31st I woke up to hearing a hack type sound coming from Salem, Instantly called my brother (who has had his melanistic Bluey for over 2 years now) to ease my panic slightly. He said definitely get her checked out better to be safe than sorry so that’s what we did the very next day. The vet assured us she was ok and perfectly healthy and she may have had a bit of something stuck in her throat she was trying to clear. My stress is eased. Now today 6th of August I hear 2 little coughs from Salem which now has me panicked again. Would it be wise to go back to the vet? Or am I being overly paranoid? She’s showing no other apparent signs of a respiratory infection.
Am I being paranoid?

Re: Am I being paranoid?
Sometimes they will accidentally ingest a piece of substrate (my easterns will try and eat anything). As long as he is eating regularly and doing what skinks do, I wouldn't worry. If it persists, of course, I'd do a re-check.
