I play a lot of v-games but I control my anger very well. I think in do part because I dont play or like violent games such as Grand Theft Auto and all those... :dead:

I mostly like racing games and RPG's. But ya my perants are Hypo-crits. Hehe sorry for the very lame pun. But ya the things I get in trouble most are from things they do. But anyway I told them that they wouldnt make any noise and all that. And they have an excuse for everything.

My dad started out with how he really doesnt like animals in the house but I said that the bluey would stay in my room and so my step-mom came back with well you said that the hedgehog would stay in your room. Which there are many major things wrong with that.

First off they wont let me keep my hedgie in my room because he stinks too much, (my step-mom has the most sensitive nose I have ever seen). Next, I got my hedgie before they got married and so she didnt live with us and my dad had no problem with the hedgehog being in other rooms. And also I never said that he would stay in my room because of that last comment and because he was never supposed to stay in my room. :godhelp:

And number one thing that I hated most about their argument was that my dad's biggest statement was: "How will owning a blue-tongue skink make ME money?" :heated:

That is a direct quote.

Ya it stinks... But I will continue to try. It really stinks though because my mom would have let me get a bluey in the blink of an eye. She was the best....

No. He was asking how the blue-tongue skink would make him money. Thats why I put that that was a direct quote, because those are pretty much the exact words he used. They just dont have any good reasoning on there side. :roll:

Uh..isn't the original point that its not going to COST him money??? lol You said that you would buy it with your own money and take care of it and all that....sooo he won't be MAKING money but he won't be LOSING any either??? Maybe he needs to be reminded of that....??? (Sorry, not trying to encourage you to revolt against your parents...I've just been in your boat plenty of times and can totally relate to that fact that sometimes they really don't get it...) :roll:

Oh yeah, why would he expect to make money off his child or an animal anyway??? (Just trying to figure out where the random comment came from..lol) You're right kid, it doesn't sound like they've got much of an argument....keep working away! If that's the best they can come up with..I can totally see you winning this one! lol :wink:

I think usually it boils down to the fact that reptiles are slimy, creepy, and crawly.

Thats what my step-mom thinks.... :roll:

But ya I love my dad but he's just annoying sometimes, as is all parents I guess. But ya he let me get my hedgehog before he married my step-mom and so he was a lot nicer to me but it still took a while of persauding.

And he's just trying to think up excuses to not let me get a Bluey. Rather bad excuses... :shake:

And my dad and step-mom say that every single animal in the world smell horrible, besides the one exception of cats for my step-mom. :godhelp:

That's insane.... things with scales don't stink.

I don't like hedgehogs, hamsters, ferrets, etc simply because of the odor. They're oily, smelly, but other than that I like them.

That's just why I don't think I'd ever own them. When you hold them, your hands get all oily.

No kidding! Mice stink like the dickens! There was a weird smell in our basement and my mom kept blaming it on Wolfy. Then she figured out the packing material she was using smells like dung. But she still says Wolfy stinks. Go figure.
