I just bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend (proposing on Saturday), and I ended up spending over a grand more than I was planning on because I found a ring that I know she would like way better than the one I had originally picked out. Anyway, she's awesome and worth sacrificing for, so I am going to try to sell my Canon Digital Rebel XT and all of my gear that I have for it (a good bit). Its worth probably a couple hundred over $2000, but I'm gonna ask less than that.

I am not interested in camera atm, but just wanted to say good luck with the proposal and hope she says yes.

I was going to say goodluck, but I'll say congratulations in advance instead and hope you have a wonderful Saturday!

Yikes on the ring, knowing me, I'd lose it down the sink, so I'm gonna get a Celtic Knotwork tatooed on my ring-finger instead. It's cheaper, too, as I'd rather spend the cash on a shingle-turd, or a trip to Australia, or England, or a down payment on a house. . .
But I'm the weirdest girl I know, which is why Tony loves me?!?
By the way, Congrats, Russman! Run screaming for the hills!
I can't think of anything more romantic than my man proposing with a Stumpie. . .
Sigh. . .

One evening a husband, thinking he was being funny, said to his
wife
"Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in Slim Fast.
Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!!"
His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn't
let such a comment go unrewarded.
The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of
his drawer.
"What the Hell is this??", he said to himself as a little "dust"
cloud appeared when he shook them out.
"April," he hollered into the bathroom, "why did you put talcum
powder in my underwear?"
She replied with a snicker:....
"It's not talcum powder......
It's 'Miracle Grow'."

misc.
Darned, my posts from yesterday have all disappeared. Glad I didn't start a picture thread. I would have had a fit if those had been lost!
Congrats Russman!
Question to all you with cricket experience. What is the best/easiest/cheapest way to gutload crickets? Has anyone used those orange Flukkers cubes that supply water and food? I am feeding a crestie and a fire bellied toad. I'm especially worried about loading for the fbt since his crickets aren't dusted (futile in his aquatic tank.)
Has anyone had an oriental fire bellied toad? Please PM me if you dare. I've read care sheets, etc. but I'm looking for a good book and I want to know what temps you maintain.
Has anyone had a giant African millipede? Thinking about getting one of those too. Are they pretty hardy and do they need any heat? (I've read conflicting thoughts on both accounts...)
