Oh and i've discovered the shed skin is a good tool for making the grand kids behave themselves, lol.

They think its a dead lizard or something, cruel maybe but hey....we need peace and quiet every now and then :)

Yeah i saw it was banned in the US in the newspaper once....kinda silly but who knows their reasons behind it.
You should buy some Tattoo, you might just like it but don't make the mistake a lot of foreigners to and put too much on!

Kris thanks for the warning. I saw that little note about how much to use in the advertising on the Vegemite web site. Americans probably get confused because the ad also likens a Vegemite sandwich to our peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I can see why someone would load up their bread with that in mind. After reading the ingredients sure seems like that would be a big

Does Vegemite taste like Marmite? In college, I had a roommate from New Zealand who smuggled(?) some Marmite over. I thought it tasted like salty motor oil.

I've never tried marmite actually, i've just always seen it as a "knock off" to vegemite and just a cheaper version. I have heard its not as good as vegemite though.

Vegemite is evil, evil stuff. You've been warned!
The jar in my cupboard dates back to 1991! It has only ever been there for other people, along with tea bags, that fake sugar stuff in sachets, a jar of smooth peanut butter and a bottle of HP sauce, all of which date back all that time. Makes you wonder what kind of preservatives they put in food these days!

Kristy, I always thought of Marmite as Vegemite's insignificant little cousin as well! I think there's promite, too.
