Uh oh -- quite the diver!!!! What a naughty skink! Definitely keep an eye on him, someone a while back had a skink snap off his tail falling off a lap, I think.

I think that was reffereing to the fact that your baby has an odd, scaly skin condition. You seen a doc bout that?

Hahaha I didn't pick that up, but thank you for trying to worry me!
I also wondered about that XD and being the geek I am I wondered why anyone would refer to Fuji Films storage media in a thread about blue tongues.
BUT also being the geek I am I looked up XD on Google and found a urban dictionairy (urban? say what, shoulda been intarweb dictionairy, shouldn't it?
) giving me the 4-1-1 about what's hip on teh intarweb today.
Dexter is a carnivore, but could I mix some veggies up in his meat to make him eat right?

BTS under a year should be fed daily with about 50% meat, 40% greens and veggies, and 10% fruit. Over a year can be fed every second or third day with about 40-45% meat, 45-50% greens and veggies, and still 10% fruits. Everybody varies this somewhat, but greens and veggies are both needed in a healthy skink diet.
Mine are good eaters, but I still put everything in a chopper and make a mash of sorts. This way they can't pick out just the good bits. It also makes food prep really easy.

So now for the 10.000 dollar question... How much food? Is skinks like dogs were they just keep eating till they are so full they can do nothing but lie down all day? Dexter has eaten 2 times now and I've sort of noticed he only eat what would be the size of a half regular tomato.. Sounds right?
