yeah - we know all about glen. The best way of getting across my point is most people here worship him, and I dare say if they were female...

Maybe you should get him to post here if you know him personally. I'm sure people would be salivating over that one.

Blotch,

When you devote most of your life to studying something you've got to know more (a lot more) than your average hobbyist.

I don't worship any one but i give credit where it is due and he knows his stuff.

Sometimes I think you either have a chip on your shoulders or you've lost a few kangaroos out of the top paddock.
Geoff.

I have no problem with Glen at all! I agree it's Awesome he has studied them like he has. It takes alot of devotion to put the time and effort to study something like he has. I just said that people here pretty much worship him, which is pretty much true. I have no chip on my shoulder either Geoff, Nor do I have Roos in the top paddock. I just believe that an objective way of thinking is the key to learning rather than following the word of someone blindly. As I'm pretty sure you'd all agree - What may be the case sometimes does not make is gospel.

yes i would be skeptical on a water dragon living to 40
but the bloke who told me about his water dragon is the author of this book,
a very good source of information

He's rarely spoken of on this forum, in fact, the VAST majority of users on here don't even know who he is. I don't think he's worshiped in the least.

And follow someone blindly? You ought to trust some of the regulars on here who tell you Glen knows his stuff! ;)

What does that even mean?

I don't see what is so difficult lol.

I agree with you, that BTS can live to 30 years or more. I really think they have the capability. This 26+ year old BTS might PROVE that in 4 years.

However, for the time being, we have no PROOF of this. We have proof of 25+.

Well, I've been told about BTS living to 35, and Shinglebacks living past 40, but is it proven? We just have people's word to go on. Just like this guy posting! If his bluey reaches thirty, do you believe it? Is it proven? Or are you simply convinced. I....am simply convinced. Thusly....it is proven in my mind because I believe what I hear after so much consistent information.

For the love of God, I hope that made sense....

Ahhh, but how can you prove he is actually 30! It is not fact, but only what your fellow man tells you! :goodlife:

Exactly, I would believe it, but it would not truly prove it.

Heh, I suppose the only TRUE way to prove it then would be to raise little Neo until he's 30. Can't believe something just because it's in print either! Hehehe. Afterall....it is written in encyclopedias that BTS lay eggs!

He's been spoken about quite a bit. Whenever something scientific comes up someone generally spouts something about Glen. I have no problem with people refferring to his work either. Zach, i don't need to trust anyone on here that Glen knows his stuff, I think I have made it pretty obvious that I Acknowledge the guy knows what he is talking about, but as i've also stated I think people learn more when they question things. I personally don't believe everything I read, even if it is from Glen. Because as you said earlier in this thread, and as I've said in the past, Just because one person has or hasn't seen something, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Remember the Mating of Easterns in the wild?
