just make sure inside your cage recieves at least around 8 hours of sun,u shouldnt need to use perspex for warmth,there local lizards,and very cold hardy,just supply some dry areas in your cage for them so they have choices,as long as your cage recieves enough sunlight during the day it should be fin,and personally,id use avairy wire over lattice for a roof,also ive had bluies dig deeper than 2 inches to escape from out door cages,id go at least 6 inches deep,better safe than sorry,if u use tin around the bottom part of your cage u can just sink the tin down to 6 inches or so,but main thing u need to be sure of ,is that it has enough sun,as they need to be able to bask during the day when ever they like,if u want them to do well
