This might seem a little harsh for you, but I see little difference in feeding live insects and feeding live mice. I probably won't feed live mice anyway(because of what blotch said about them damaging the skinks eye), but if I knew it was safe, I would have no problem at all doing so.
I just watched a video on google, (tiliqua vs. mouse), and I dicided never to feed a live mouse. The mouse WAS TRYING TO BITE THE EYES! That mouse seemed way to big too. If you feel unconfortable about a BTS eating a live mouse, for goodness sake, don't watch this video! It's rather gruesome, even for me!

The process in which they chase, bite, and eat a mouse is worlds different than slurping up crickets or worms. I've studied reactions and methods of hunt many a time.

But it's each person's choice, as long as they choose for the right reasons. :)

Mice can be nasty little big jerks*. Perhaps why blueys practice thrashing their veggies around once in a while... can't let your guard down. :tough:

I would actually like to see LANCE death roll a mouse. I think it would be cool. Like national Geographic in my bedroom.

I don't feel bad about it, but I don't use live because I feel it is an unnessesary risk.
