finally the guys home.. he is staying in a pet carrier/ sweater box right now, im still waiting for the customized cage to really dry up.. i lined it up with newpapewr ( tomorrow i wil change to new beddings) he seems to adjusting, always burrowing, offered her cat food while ago but doesnt seem to bother. i also put fresh water. he just shed when i got him, there are stuck skins on his toes < hope it will come off >
i am afraid that he wont eat, he has been eating fruits and veggies in his past owners.
he really doesntl ike being handled.. little skittish. will huff and puff when you touch his ears and the side of the head.. but he is just ok i know he will settle down < i hope >

Give him a jarlid size every day! Jar lid = standard household jar.

Just start with something small and upgrade when you get him in his final enclosure. :)

thanks Zach.. one more ting. he just finished shedding when i got him, i was able to take out some loose old skin on his toes and on his chin.i just noticed now that he still has his "ear plugs" inside its ear. Totally lodged inside its ears, can i take him to the vet and have it remove? I read in your CS that never stick anything inside its ears, but its impossible for me to get it and it looks like that he isnt scratching it out.. help! :(

thanks again. This forum has been a big big help!
Proud to be here...

Hmm...

How do you know for sure the ear plugs are still inside? There always seems to be a "film" or something that looks like plugs that are always inside the ear.

Probably wouldn't warrant a vet visit -- but could further on down the road if multiple shed plugs were stuck in the ear.

Avatars are like shoes to me. Even though I can only wear one pair at a time, I always have a closet full!
