Actually, my dad's the carpenter.. I've just been soaking up his praise. I told him what I wanted and then helped him build it.

looks good! How high of a lip do you have to prevent the substrate from falling out? It doesn't look very high and I would think the bluey will push all his substrate out on a regular basis (especially if yours will be anything like mine are).

I think the lip is like 3.5 inches.. I wanted to make it higher, but I also wanted enough room above the substrate to house the lights comfortably.
