Yep, that's why the refresh button exists! Many times old files remain in your cache (sometimes whole sites) so when you bring up the site, it just loads all the pictures that are on your computer in the cache to save time. You have to refresh to get the new data/pictures! Some computers are better than others in automatically doing this...
