Speaking of making things... I can't got to the material store without seeing a new skull material and thinking of you! Today I saw this cool one that had red glittery eyes. You wouldn't want to use it for the bluey because I'm sure the glitter would get around but it still looked cool!

Honestly, if you ever find cool skull material you can even get it and bill me. I would gladly take it. There's this sheer mesh material, kind of like the stuff they put birdseed in to throw into the eyes of the beloved at weddings, with little copper "disco" skulls all over it, and I want to buy it for inner privacy curtains. Something to let the light in...
But yeah if there's a skull material out there you find acceptable I may want to get Rollie just a regular blanket to wrap him up in.

Curtains are easy to make. It's really just quick hems and then the seam the rod goes through. I just finished making a bunch from my friend's mom's daycare. The mesh stuff is a little bit trickier because it's sliperier, but you just have to pin more.
I'll see if there's one that I really like next time I go because there are seriously tons of skull material.

So, the Blueys don't get their little feet caught in the fleece blankies and stuff? I make stuff all the time for my furries to lounge in. I wonder if my Beardie would like a blankie... he sure likes my shirt front
Btw, the breeder and I are still working out the details on my Bluey baby and the wait is killing me!!!

keep us posted
I was just checking back to see if you had chosen yet! Oh, do keep us updated as we are all excited!
I would love to get Piper a buddy but the hubby is stretched about as far as he'll go. I might have to let him get a fishing boat if I collect any more pets! Also, Piper and I are still working out his diet. If I could get him a little closer to my goal diet, I might just need one more. Of course it is getting much harder to hide tanks and find safe high spots. Your babies are beautiful though so the offer is most tempting!!!!!

This stuff I saw is so sheer, Jenn, sewing would make it a big mess. I think I could honestly use a hot glue gun and "hem" them enough to make a loop for a curtain rod. It's thinner than cheesecloth. My expertise is sewing by hand, I don't have a machine.
It's getting to my favorite spooky holiday anyway, when I lurk the fabric aisles and stores for skull patterns anyway...
My problem is finding innocent skulls, not too butt-rock biker-meth Metallica and not too ooshy-gooshy stab my eyes with a fork toddler-style cute skulls either.

I've sew with some pretty shere fabrics. I do most of my sewing by machine. If you want to send it my way and I can see what I can do. It's probably really light so it can't cost much to send. If I don't think I can sew it, I'll just send it back and then you can hot glue.
If I find cool skull material how much are you looking for?

Bah, no need for me to send anything. Too much trouble for all involved. The glue works pretty good, believe it or not.
On the other hand, I usually buy about 3 yards or so. I make scarves (if the material is right) or just add-on to vests, jackets and other things.
Thanks, by the way! You're brining out my inner housewife.
