Most pet stores I know hate stocking BTS. All of the managers all say they cost the stores too much since they don't sell quickly. Most of them actually lose money by stocking since it usually take between five months to year before someone is willing to buy one. I find the pet stores that do sell Blueys, either it is the first time that the department manager placed an order or someone placed a special order for them, and they decided to order in a couple other in as well. I only know this because I nose around to find out where people get their Blueys.

If the BTS have been there for months, or years, then I really doubt that they will try selling it again until they replace the head cheese again. However everyone else is right. If you do buy it, it just tell the manager that someone is willing to buy it.

LittleFoot was in the pet store for about 5 months, he was reduced from $200 to $100 and still no one would buy him. He was in a small enclosure and fed only crickets which he was not a fan of. My hubby brought him home for me since he knew I wanted a BTS and he felt sorry for LittleFoot. The store said they would never carry another BTS again, not cost efficient. He was a special order but the person didn't want him, said he was too brown
