My son wanted a ferret and we happened to be flipping the channels and caught that show. Afterwards he said, "um maybe no ferret" I think those people scared him :shock:

lol, i'd be scared too, my teacher had like, three ferrets, she liked them, but she said they smell like death. :dead: or maybe i said that, :noknow:

It's funny how ferret freaks defend them so strongly.

I've heard every excuse and remedy in the book about the smell.

I remind them that if a person is around a stench for a long time, they end up getting used to it. So sure, if they bathe them regularly, and suddenly the smell "goes away," yeah, I guess I'd believe my efforts too. :noknow:

They just seem like the trailer trash exotic pet. I notice a lot of not-so-well to do Renoites own them along with six grubby kids, pitbulls and a dirt yard full of dog feces.

It's either that or it's couples that watch Star Trek far too often and go to those silly dress-up shows. I'm sure some adult dress-up Harry Potter fans have a few ferrets too... :lol:

Maybe that's just here.

Skinks, on the other hand, I don't see as being that much of a problem. The smell is attributed to strictly cage-keeping, like most pets (except the satanic ferret). Getting more is really no more difficult a burden than one, simply the cost and space initially.

I realized that I finally found a way to stop getting more blueys. I bought my own house! I know have tons of room for them but not the money to buy them.

Agree 100%, buying your own house puts a stop to most things mate.

Yup, that stupid morgage really puts a cramp in my bluey buying. I don't know why the house just couldn't be free!!!! Actually it's probably a good thing becuase I could just imagine how many I would have without anyone saying no!
