No Mate a tourist found it and cut the fence down mate .., LMAO it was eating the farmers lambs - So the station owner went crazy ..hahaha its lumbered off :lol:

A random question for the Aussies, If you said "I was going to the beach, but I saw some blue bottles so didnt". What would you be on about? Bluebottles are flies over here, I'm guessing thy're jellies

Yep, jelly fish. As kids, we used to pop them with a tennis ball the ones that washed up on the beach.
In QLD they call them stingers. They get Box jelly fish up there and they can kill you. Flies are just flies! Or blowies. And on the insect thing, we don't get midges over here (thank goodness!) and you know how your bees are big and furry? Ours are small and smooth.

I SAW MY FIRST WILD BTS!!!!

I am much more excited about this than I should be. There was even much arm-flailing. The Aussies with me thought I was completely insane, especially when I insisted on bolting up to my room and grabbing my camera. He's this lovely eastern who apparently hangs around the front door of my living area, and it's finally warm enough for him to start coming out. I'm hoping he's the first of many!

My pictures are really blurry and bad because we scared him and he ran underneath the stairs. I will share them with you anyway. He had a really bright feather in his mouth and just had the appearance of being in trouble.

Thanks guys! I love Nib, he's so Tiny! Maybe the next one I get I'll name Ozzy! (or Sharon) I didn't know NIB was a Black Sabbath song! (Guess I'm a little slow on my metal!)
I'll try and get more pics tonight. I used Tony's camera, which is smaller and doesn't have as good a light adjustment on it.

Cheers for that Lisa, yesssss,those midges or nats{AKA}are a right pain in the proverbial,I thought the small furless ones were wasps haa haaa, do you get them? And hornets as well, we've had German wasps over here, they live underground, are a bit bigger, but the worst thing is they have five or six on gaurd, buzzing around the entrance,if anything gets within two or three metres of the entrance, they fly right at you giving it the biggen right in your face, until you vacate the area.
