There's a state with more gun shops than McDonald's? I want to live there!

There's some freaky gun nuts out there, Ian. I don't sleep with my guns. I'm not that paranoid. Sure they're in reach, I'd use one if I had to, but my mantra is, I like shooting, I like guns. I want to own them. I think good people should be allowed to do as such, for protection, for hunting, for sport.

I was a computer technician and a network administrator for about five years, Ian. I hate computers and I hate working on them. I'm just really good at making them do what they do. It's the last time I'll take a hobby and turn it into a job. :hehe:

My PC was free too!

My brother works IT at one of the biggest, oldest, wealthiest private boys schools in Sydney. Last time they upgraded all their systems, a few Pentium 4s went my way.

Lol Cute BTS kids book.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Pink-Tongue-Blue-Tongue-Story-Book-Mark-Gagiero-NEW_W0QQitemZ230120299088QQihZ013QQcategoryZ1096QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Written by Mark Gagiero, illustrated by Kelvin Hucker. This delightful Australian picture book tells of the adventures of a boy, Swifty, and his pet blue tongue lizard, Lick. Swifty and Lick are as different as night and day. In summer, Lick is most active, running about everywhere, while Swifty only wants to lay still in the hot sun. Lick's favourite food is snails, while Swifty wouldn't eat one if you paid him - YUCK! But there is one thing the friend have in common... 4 yrs+

Image

That snail is soooo about to get chomped.

Looks like a Western to me. From what I can find out I think the author's from WA. The book's published by Funtastic. He also has another called Lizard's New Tail, or just Lizard's Tail, published by Scholastic, which appears to be about a gecko.

Doubel post <--- My specialty (will be a seminar on it shortly, check for dates). I still haven't put in my application the work at Australia Zoo - got all the forms but I couldn't organise a chook raffle at present, so my life is on hold!

Is there a something in your system, so I can Hard-wire that "On-hold" until I can get wired again. Either Kyle or Bushman are welcome to contribute to this problem????

I have my PC, PS1, PS2, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo and Sega Megadrive 2. :edward:

And that's nothing compared to what my brothers have.

I went to Toys R Us this weekend to pic up a game that I reserved, and I walked away with a Wii. OMG, talk about the most fun I've had gaming. And all those stories you hear about people hurting themselves and other objects, I can totally believe them now.

My brother has a Sega Nomad, and it kicks GameBoy's backside!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Nomad

Full colour LCD screen. It's hard to believe it was made so long ago.

(My brother is nuts about anything Sega, and has spent amounts on Sega stuff that could probably buy me a new car.)

Sega was okay, but Gameboy was always awesome.

I own:

- 2 original gameboys (bricks!)
- 1 gameboy color
- 1 GB Advance
- 1 DS Lite
- 2 Super Nintendo (one normal and one compact)
- 1 N64
- 2 GC
- 1 Wii

- 1 PS1
- 1 PS2

and one Atari system and one Sega Saturn. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to make use of too many of my videogames :( Life is always getting in my way.

I play a few PC games, too, and I hope to acquire an XBox 360 at some point. PS3 has no love from me.

I also have an amazing Macintosh SE from 1987/1988 or something, which has the most amazing games on it ever: Asteroids, Lemmings, Shuffle Puck, Crystal Quest...

He has a Mac SE too. My mum's a teacher/librarian at a primary school, and all the library computers used to be macs. When they finally got money from the DoE (sorry, that's Department of Education) to upgrade to Windows based PCs, my brother took home the Mac, because it was now useless to the school, and he'd helped with the upgrade. He'd been their "unofficial" IT technician since he was 13 since they couldn't afford to get in a professional.

(Sorry, I keep saying "my brother". I have two. One works as an IT technician for a big private boys school in Sydney, and is nuts about anything Sega. He thinks in programming language, and loves building emulators and playing around with coding. He's writing a computer game with some of his friends. The other plays D&D, is involved with translating Japanese anime and loves fantasy/sci fi novels. They're both computer geeks though.)
